THE PHILOSOPOHY BEHIND

Breast cancer is one of most debilitating diseases (not only of females – although less prevalent in males). According to the American Cancer Society. Hard to conquer medically. One of the best chances to fight is therefore  knowing respective symptoms breast cancer is based on.

TYPES OF SYMPTOMS – SCIENTIFICALLY VERIFIED

To do so, one needs to know the usual types of symptoms in this case – according to the science pattern of the American Cancer Society.

Most usually it is a lump/mass in the breast. Usually irregular in shape, hard and – yes – painless. Although some cases are tender and soft.

While lump/mass shape is rather common, there are quite some shapes as follows – inter alia:

- thickened part of breast
- changed shape orsizeof breast
- breast/nipple pain
- nipple discharge
- dimpled skin
- pull in on nipple
- flaky/discolored skin on nipple or breast
- partial or full swelling
- swollen lymph nodes

Should one of these signs show up, it is important to check the cause and tackle, to avoid cancer.

To be more precise: it is important to realize basically following symptoms of breast cancer – besides lumps:

- lymph node changes
- nipple retraction/inversion
- swelling
- redness
- changes to skin texture
- breast/nipple pain
- nipple discharge
- dimpling

These differences are especially important because of the fact that breast cancer can develop in different parts of the breast, affecting different types of tissues.

BREAST CANCER TYPES – SCIENTIFICALLY VERIFIED

Rounding up, it is important to know the basic types of breast cancer.

Just to dig up the following basic ones – as verified by the American Cancer Society.

As follows.

  • Ductal carcinoma in situ

TReferring t an area of abnormal cells with reference to one milk duct.

But with a ductal carcinoma in situ, this could develop invasive breast cancer later in time.

  • Invasive lobular carcinoma

Developing in glands producing milk.

This can spread to other parts of the body.

  • Lobular carcimoma in situ

With reference to area of abnormal cells confined to breast milk producing glands.

  • Invasiove ductal carcinoma

These could develop pther types of invasive breast cancers.

This is in fact the most common type of breast cancer with some 80%.

With reference, inter alia, to

- skin dimpling
- nipple discharge
- lump in the underarm area
- swelling of all part of the breast
- nipple turning inward
- pain in the breast or nipple
- discoloration/scaling/thickening of nipple/skin

However, there are also less common types of breast cancer.

Such as

  • Paget’s disease of the breast
  • Triple negative breast cancer
  • Phyllodes tumors
  • Inflammatory breast cancer
  • Angiosarcoma of the breast

LIFESTYLE ADJUSTMENTS

The best way to handle this complicated situation is lifestyle adjustment as follows.

  • Physical exercise per week:
           either 150-300 mintes moderate
           or 75-150 minutes vigorously
  • Moderate weight
  • Breastfeeding after childbirth
