Inflammation stands behind any disease, injury and infection. Fortunately, nature offers us many remedies to relieve and overcome this debilitating side effect, in order also to avoid premature and preventable death. We picked half a dozen of these possibilities from nature’s almost endless kingdom of health in this blog for your well being.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND

As already documented in the Holy Bible more than 2000 years ago, the 3 Wise Men conveyed 3 medicinal herbs at Jesus’ birth to fight inflammation which stands behind each disease, injury and infection – also today.

That’s why it is vital to overcome inflammation not only basically but especially to avoid premature death. Unfortunately yet, conventional medicine of today has only synthetic drugs to offer in this case with lots of side effects but no successful cure.

NATURAL ALTERNATIVES – SCIENTIFICALLY VALIDATED

Unlike nature which does have alternatives to offer. Just to pick half a dozen of powerful remedies from nature’s kingdom of health.

As, inter alia, pointed out already in my seminar “Health from the Bible”,

Curcumin

s one of these powerful remedies as an active part of Turmeric in the ginger plant family.

More than that, according to research at, inter alia, the U.S. universities of Vanderbilt, California, Central Michigan, Nova South Eastern - and  Kyungpook National University in Korea, curcumin helps additionally with wound healing and even cuts down the risk of cancer.

With a recommended dosage of 400-600 mg 3 times daily.

Another powerful medicinal herb to control inflammation, and also covered in the seminar “Health from the Bible”, is an extract of 30-40% of boswellic acids derived from the Boswellia tree by the name of

Frankincense

with a recommended dosage of 300-500 mg 2-3 times per day.

Based on research at, inter alia, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt University, all 3 in the U.S.

Zinc

is especially recommended for inflammation control in case of elders, according to research at, inter alia, Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, US-State of Michigan.

Omega-3 fatty acids

which we find abundantly in fatty fish like cod belong to the most powerful nutrients to control inflammation, based on research at, inter alia, the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and again, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Specifically in cases of vascular inflammation which is a tremendous risk factor for heart disease and attack.

Green tea

is especially recommended in cases of arthritis, as its compounds reduce the risk of cartilage loss. Based on research at, inter alia, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania, as well as Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

With reference to a consumption of 3-4 cups of green tea daily or 300-400 mg of green tea extract per day.

Not to overlook finally

Cat’s claw

as derived from different uncaria plants, potentially consumed also as a tea with the amount of 1 gram of its root bark per 8 ounces of water – or as a powdered extract of 20-60 mg daily.

According to research again at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
