Health is not only a physical issue but also mental. Accordingly, to stay – and/or become – healthy means to take care not only of our physical well-being, but also our mental. In this blog, you learn to understand and avoid mental disorders.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND

When we talk about health, we usually understand our physical well-being. Overlooking the fact that our body is a complex biologic phenomenon, connecting both – physique and mind. I.e., mental health is equally important as physical health.

This implies that our overall well-being can be affected – and disrupted – severely by negative mental conditions in terms of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral implications. Just as it is in case of almost 20% of U.S. adult citizens, as a leading cause of disability in the country.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the American Psychiatric Association.

MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS – SCIENTIFICALLY VALIDATED

I.e. panic attacks, with reference to overwhelming terror or imminent disaster or death.
