1/1/2023

Longevity is basically an issue of 2 manageable pillars - healthy diet and physical exercise. However, there are additional factors with special reference to lifestyle and health. You need to understand this in order to extend your lifespan. Read on to learn more about.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND

As you know from our previous publications and seminars, longevity is basically a matter of manageable lifestyle. With special reference to healthy diet and physical exercise.

                                                          Walk off mortality?

A recent scientific study at Inje University in Gyeongsangnam-do, Republic of Korea, with prospects over 85 years old, demonstrated that walking at least for one hour per week may well cut down the risk of all-cause mortality, cardiovascular and diabetes related specifically.

Even more, as there are also...

 ADDITIONAL  FACTORS – SCIENTIFICALLY VERIFIED

As we learn from research at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland, there are factors additional to our self-chosen basic pillars of lifestyle – and less manageable – which play a role in terms of longevity.

With special reference to

Age & Gender

Scientifically verified by the Institute of Prevention and Clinical Medicine in Bratislava, Slovakia, women live longer than men, if they are practicing physically. Independent of their respective genes.

In figures, in the U.S. life expectancy of women, in average, is 79 years in this case, to be compared with 73 years of men. As confirmed by U.S. governmental Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Even more, there are different factors to disfavor men when it comes to life extension such as, inter alia:

  • Women tend less likely to suicide than men
(based on research at Washington School of Medicine
  • Mem are visiting a doctor less frequent than women
(according to research at, inter alia, the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia and                the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, UK)
  • Risk of occupational injuries & death is higher in men than women

Although women are more predisposed to debilitating diseases such as, inter alia,
  • depression (according to findings at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in Ottawa, Canada)
  • stroke (according to the American Stroke Association)
  • Alzheimer’s disease (according to research at the University of Pennsylvania in University Park, PA)

IN A NUTSHELL

While longevity is basically an issue of 2 manageable pillars - healthy diet and physical exercise - there are additional (more or less manageable) factors with special reference to lifestyle and health you need to understand to manage them as far as possible in order to extend your lifespan.
