With bishop St. Nicholas being buried at the Basilica di San Nicola in Bari, Italy. After he had toured the world himself.

In fact, and this is how the scientific circle closes in this case – according to the contemporary – not to say ‘revolutionary’ – radiocarbon dating, the bones they investigated are dating back to the 4th century – the time bishop St. Nicholas died. Not only this, exactly same results were found with bones in Venice, Italy, demonstrating that St. Nicholas (‘Santa Claus’) was indeed a ‘cosmopolitan’ bishop and personality on tour. Worth to be celebrated in the Christian community worldwide. Not as a legend, but one of the real greatest Christian personalities in history.
