SAVE YOUR HEART WITH IRON?

7/30/2017

Each year, more than 600,000 U.S. citizens are dying premature and preventable of cardiovascular disease (a coronary disease inhibiting regular blood support for the heart), making it the leading chronic illness in this country. (Followed by 600,000 - again: premature & preventable - cancer deaths). Read on to learn how to avoid this destiny naturally.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND

Colin Frazier from Detroit, MI, asks:
If I look at our family tree, almost none of my predecessors reached long life expectancy, due to heart failure. Is this the will of God, Doc?

Dr. Fritz:

As you may have learned, inter alia, from my previous medical blogs – not only is our planet the Earth an ecosystem strictly based on natural laws (only), but so is man’s biologic existence.

This implies that, basically, we all can reach a life expectancy of more than 100years, healthy and energetic.

Provided, we supply our body with those nutrients (such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins, etc., etc.) it needs to survive. Speak: with lifestyle including healthy and balanced diet, avoiding malnutrition.

SCIENTIFIC VALIDATION

One of the essential nutrients is certainly iron as a basic prerequisite for, inter alia, a well functioned cardiovascular system with your heart as centerpiece and 'motor' of life.

Scientifically validated, inter alia, by 2 London, UK, based medical institutions: the Imperial College London, and the University College London.

Confirming that the risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD) depends on the appropriate amount of iron in the blood, a mineral our body can’t live without, as you become tired and dizzy without, and even may develop anemia.

And how much iron does your body need? According to the U.S. governmental Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), non-pregnant and non-nursing females normally should have a daily input of iron no less but 18 mg, males at least 8 mg.

However, you may raise your daily input (in line with your healthcare provider’s advice) in cases you
  • are over 65
  • have recently lost much blood
  • take blood thinners
  • have heavy menstrual periods
  • have kidney disease

NATURE’S BEST IRON SOURCES

Leaves us with the question about most potent sources of iron in nature. Based on research at, inter alia, the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, these are:
    *     Clams ranking highest with almost 24 mg of iron in a three-ounce can.
  • Oysters, cooked, with some 10 mg iron in a three-ounce serving.
However, there are also very potent natural sources of iron off sea; like
    *   White Beans. While, basically, all beans contain iron, white beans are the best choice with 8
          mg iron per cup.
  • Soybeans are another choice, with more than 4 mg iron per half-cup serving.
  • Spinach offering about 3 mg per half-cup. Similar to
  • Lentils. Also
  • Cereals for breakfast can offer 18 mg of iron.
  • Organ Meats like beef liver are holding some 5 mg of iron per three-ounce serving.
And if you have a sweet tooth, don’t shy away from
  • Dark Chocolate with at least 45 per cent cacao solids, offering some 7 mg of iron in a three-ounce bar.

CONCLUSION

Health cannot be supported with synthetic-chemical drugs, only with appropriate natural nutrients and remedies, respectively. That's the basic biologic-ecologic law of nature.

Iron is one of those, when it comes to keep your cardiovascular system healthy.
