Insomnia, of which almost half of our population is suffering frequently, is not a disease, but basically an issue of our lifestyle. To be managed successfully – and naturally. Read on to learn about details.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND

Our health and longevity basically depends on healthy diet and physical activity. Not only. In order to relax our body and mind to strengthen both for our life ahead, sound sleep of 7-9 hours at night is also inevitable.

Unfortunately yet, many of us don’t reach this goal due to crippled lifestyle factors, according to the U.S. National Health, Lung, and Blood Institute. In figures: up to 70 million adults are afflicted by this situation, as verified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Demonstrated by following potential inherent features/difficulties such as

  • falling/staying asleep
  • problematic sleep-wake schedule
  • unfavorable behaviors during sleep time

In order to find the way out for the better, we first need to know – and understand what stands behind of this deficiency - by looking closer to basic

With special reference to the causes behind and potential natural treatments.  According to the U.S. National Center on Sleep Disorders Research. As integrated in the U.S. National Health, Lung, and Blood Institute. Scientifically verified also by the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN.

While we may not cover sleep disorders like

  • narcolepsy
  • sleep apnea
  • parasomnias
           &
  • restless leg syndrome (RLS)

this time in the brief elaboration, we should consider at least

since some 10% of adults in the U.S. are suffering at least on a short-term basis om this most frequent sleep disorder. Of which 20% become chronic. More than that: 30-40% of adults are suffering occasionally or acute of this issue.

With the consequence that those affected have problems
- falling asleep
- waking up frequently or too early in the morning (without falling asleep
   again)

In fact, we speak about this condition when it happens at least 3 times a week during one month.

Based on following potential

  • Causes

we need to understand before we can tackle with certain treatments.

These potential causes can well be

- in terms of anxiety/stress
- health problems causing pain or other discomfort
- frequent bathroom visits

Leaves us with the question about potential natural

  • Treatments

In this case, the U.S. governmental Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends, inter alia,

- physical activity during day
- relaxation before going to bed
- follow sleep schedule & nightly routine regularly
