WARD OFF ALZHEIMER'S WITH FOOD?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 55 million heads are suffering worldwide from the most debilitating type of dementia, medically named Alzheimer’s.  Leading to an annual death rate of almost 100,000 in the U.S. Fortunately, nature gives us quite a few highly potential foods to cut down this vicious cycle.    ​

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND
​

​Close to a New Year and chance of longevity, you may want to ward off one of the most debilitating mental health issues of our time: Alzheimer’s as a most common type of dementia where nerve cells in the brain a dropping out. Medically termed after the German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Dr. Alzheimer. Living 1864-1915. According to World Health Organization (WHO) affecting more than 55 million heads worldwide, adding 10 million each year.
 
Potentially caused not only by age and genetics/family history but also, inter alia, medically. With e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease (with special reference to high blood pressure and/or cholesterol).  And certain lifestyle factors such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
 
Although currently non-curable with ‘modern’ medical intervention, nature can at least cut down the risk of development profoundly with – natural - nutrition.
 
Unlike with our well known and practiced ‘Western’ diet with its highly processed food including plenty of (red) meat and saturated fats. In fact, red and processed meat is the most dangerous part of the unfavorable (processed) diet.
