HOW RELIEVE ACHES & PAIN NATURALLY?

4/29/2018

No conventional cure has been offered yet in cases of fibromyalgia, a concept of medical art for aches and pain of muscles and joints, without detail perceptibility and diagnose of the underlying cause. Fortunately, nature is leading the way to relieve these aches and pain. Scientifically validated by renowned U.S. and international medical schools. Just read on…
Chris VanBorg from Wheeling, West Virginia, asks:

When I wake up in the morning, the first ‘message’ comes from my body – submitting aches and pain. With the underlying cause not yet found and diagnosed. Instead I swallow drugs, leading to additional health conditions. Any natural ways out of this vicious cycle, Doc?

THE VICIOUS CYCLE BEHIND

Dr. Fritz:

Aches and pain with no reliable diagnosis about the underlying cause, we label this fibromyalgia as a concept of medical art. A seemingly chronic condition with no cure offered yet – although it was medicinally reported already in the early 1800s.

Not enough, according to the American College of Rheumatism, suffering from fibromyalgia very often is related to even more negative symptoms such as, inter alia,

  • Chronic fatigue (despite of sound sleep at night)
  • Cognitive problems
  • More frequent urination
  • Dizziness
  • Diarrhea and other gastrointestinal issues
  • Dry eyes
  • Vomiting
  • Hair loss
This makes the vicious cycle perfect.

Statistically, women are more affected, experiencing sharp and shooting pain in many cases, including painful menstruation which we call dysmenorrhea. Also, intensified fatigue and mood swings are not unusual consequences in cases of pregnancy.

NATURE’S ANSWERS – SCIENTIFICALLY VALIDATED

Fortunately, nature points to ways out of this vicious cycle – economically reasonable, effective and without side effects. Inter alia…

Physical Exercise

Unlike sedentary lifestyle based on obesity or other reasons which intensifies aches and pain of muscles and joints, regular aerobic physical activity like running or swimming can help to avoid and relieve this fate.

According to research at, inter alia, the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health in Nydalen, Norway, Ufuk University in Ankara, Turkey, the University of Western Ontario in London, ON, Canada, the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada, Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and Brown University School of Public Health in Providence, Rhode Island.

Healthy Diet

In many cases, fibromyalgia is linked to chronic inflammation. Therefore,
processed foods are especially counterproductive. Same is with artificial sweeteners which could interrupt serotonin in the brain, just as the protein lactose in milk.

Also, deficiencies of Vitamin D and magnesium shall be avoided.

Instead, anti-inflammatory nutrition – like fish, nuts, and raspberries – is advisable.

Based on research at, inter alia, at the University of Padova in Padova, Italy, the Istanbul Bilim University in Turkey, the Hospital Egas Moniz in Portugal, and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Meditation & Mindfulness

While meditation can relieve 2 very common triggers for fibromyalgia – anxiety and stress – mindfulness may reduce many symptoms of fibromyalgia such as poor sleep and stress especially in women.

Based on research at, inter alia, the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky.

Complementary Therapies

In this context, also complementary methods – if used strictly ‘complementary’ – may help, such as
  • Massage Therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Biofeedback
  • Guided Imagery
  • Yoga
According to research at, inter alia, RMIT University in Bundoora/Victoria, Australia and the University of Brescia in Brescia, Italy.

Social Contacts

In fact, aches and pain are not only a physical but also a psychological experience.

I.e., social contacts can influence fibromyalgia positively in both directions: face-to-face and with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) online. Yet, face-to-face is the more effective avenue.

Based on research at, inter alia, the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Spain’s capital Madrid.

Should you not have enough social contacts in your daily environment, just consider attending religious service – independent of the specific creed. Learn more about from our previous 2 blogs:

CONCLUSION

If we don’t know about the underlying cause of any symptoms we suffer, never doubt that nature is the best therapist. With natural remedies and modalities – economically reasonable, effective and without debilitating side effects. Non-diagnosed aches and pain of our joints and muscles being no exception. Based on the fact that your body is an ecosystem in line with nature.
